Its that time of year again, the big freeze is coming, as if we have not enough. The houses go empty as we all are on the way family. The pipes freeze, crack water tanks and explode, thieves take in advance of us on vacation and so on.
So what can we do about it. There are quite a large number of things we can do and organize, while the temperatures drop and we prepare to leave the house empty over the Christmas period.
First, you tell your trusted neighbors you're going away, perhaps a good idea to ask them in from time to time, pop, make sure all is well.
